APIA 1st Grade Duo Courtney Halpin and Christina Ferreyra struck gold at the recent FNSW Gala Dinner winning the WSL Goal Keeper of the Year award and the WSL Golden Boot award.

Halpin shone brightly this season, helping the clubs 1st grade team to the best defensive record in the competition having only conceded 17 goals in 21 games. Halpin also doubled up and played Reserve Grade when Reserve Grade keeper went down injured at the midpoint way of the season. Ferrerya started the season slowing but when she got into her grove she terrorised the opposition scoring 2 hat tricks along the way to the competition leading 20 goal haul.

It was a fantastic season for our WSL 1st Grade team, they secured the Premiership, a Grand Final appearance, the competitions second best defence and best attack. The added bonus being the Golden Boot and the Goal Keeper of the Year.
